This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Tiarnan O'Mahoney's bail application pending appeal was adjourned. The application had been due on 9 October 2015. The proceedings were reported on 9 October 2015.

O'Mahoney was convicted of furnishing incorrect information to the Revenue Commissioners in 2003, conspiring to falsify bank records and conspiring to defraud Revenue. Judge Patrick McCartan, at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, sentenced him to three years in prison. The former Anglo Irish Bank chief operations officer was serving his sentence at Loughan House, a low-security prison in Co Cavan.

His conviction appeal was listed for 11 January, alongside co-convicted Bernard Daly's appeal. Mr Justice George Birmingham requested submissions before that date. The appeals were set down for three days, and both men were also to appeal their sentences.

The report said liberty to re-enter the bail case was sought once transcripts from the eight-week trial became available. It said the decision to wait followed the Court of Appeal's rejection of Daly's bail application earlier that week.
