Three plead not guilty in Gareth Hutch murder trial

Jonathan Keogh, Regina Keogh and Thomas Fox have pleaded not guilty to murdering Gareth Hutch. Fox has also denied unlawfully possessing a Makarov 9mm handgun at Avondale House on 23 May 2016.

The proceedings were reported on 6 June 2018. The Special Criminal Court was shown CCTV footage of the fatal shooting outside Avondale House flats on North Cumberland Street in Dublin on 24 May 2016.

Prosecuting counsel Paul Burns SC said the footage showed two men approaching a man at his car and appearing to point objects at him. He said the man then appeared to fall to the ground.

The trial was continuing before Mr Justice Tony Hunt, sitting with Judge Patricia Ryan and Judge Michael Walsh.
