Mary McDonnell told the Special Criminal Court on 14 June 2018 that she wanted to return home after the Gareth Hutch murder trial.

The protected witness said gardaí had moved her elsewhere and told her they did not want her returning to the Dublin flat complex where Mr Hutch was shot.

She was cross-examined for a second day while Thomas Fox, Regina Keogh and Jonathan Keogh denied murdering Mr Hutch.

The trial continued before Mr Justice Tony Hunt, sitting with Judge Patricia Ryan and Judge Michael Walsh.
