Unnamed teenager pleads guilty to murdering Lorna Woodnutt

The unnamed 17-year-old pleaded guilty to murdering Lorna Woodnutt, 51, outside Tullamore, Co Offaly.

At the Central Criminal Court sentencing hearing, the judge adjourned the process until 3 October and directed that the teenager remain detained at Oberstown until then.

The case was recorded in July 2024.
