Patrick McDonagh jailed for five years for handgun possession

Patrick McDonagh, 50, of Dundalk, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a handgun and was sentenced to five years at the Special Criminal Court.

The DPP did not proceed with a separate IRA-membership charge.
