The Labour Court affirmed a finding that Tesco Ireland Limited had not breached the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, and Barbara Maciejewska’s appeal failed. The determination was dated 19 December 2017. Maciejewska said she received Tesco’s staff handbook ten months after starting work. Tesco said she received it at induction and had also been given a written statement of her employment terms in her contract. The Court noted that Maciejewska acknowledged receiving the written statement within two months and had not identified any required information it left out.
