The Labour Court has set aside a €1,012 award to former delivery driver Derek Clarke after finding his complaint over unpaid annual leave not well founded. The Court’s decision was signed on 6 July 2026. Clarke said he had not received all accrued leave pay when he left. Scs Haulage Dublin Limited said it processed a supplementary payment for five outstanding leave days on 28 June 2024. The Court found that Clarke did not dispute receiving that payment and concluded there was no basis for his unlawful deduction complaint.
