The Labour Court upheld the dismissal of George Mc Loughlin’s protected disclosure claim after finding he was not an employee during the cognisable period and had identified no penalisation in it. The determination was signed on 12 February 2020.
Mc Loughlin had appealed an Adjudication Officer’s decision dismissing his claim that Minister Jobs Enterprise& Innovation penalised him for making a protected disclosure. His appeal failed.
