Labour Court recommends talks between National Ambulance Service and Fórsa

The Labour Court has recommended good-faith discussions between the National Ambulance Service and Fórsa Trade Union about recent aspects of a worker’s long-running dispute over pay, grading, job evaluations, promotion and dignity at work. The recommendation was dated 15 September 2023. The Court said it could not recommend regrading or red-circling the worker’s role. If the parties do not reach agreement within six weeks, the matter can be referred back to the Court for a final recommendation.
