Labour Court says it cannot compel Perabell Limited to attend WRC investigation

The Labour Court said it had no jurisdiction to compel Perabell Limited to attend a WRC investigation sought by Liam Doran. The recommendation, signed on 13 January 2022, said Doran’s claim failed. Doran had lodged a trade-dispute claim with the WRC, where Perabell objected to an Adjudication Officer investigating it. He said the objection reflected poor treatment he experienced while working at the company’s Domino’s Clondalkin franchise. Perabell did not attend the Labour Court hearing.
