The Labour Court recommended a three-year pay agreement for Bus Eireann and 130 Supervisors, represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, NBRU and Transport Salaried Staffs' Association. It proposed increases of 2.75% from 1 January 2019, 2.5% from 1 January 2020 and 2.5% from 1 January 2021. The recommendation was dated 27 August 2019. The unions sought those pay increases and a €60,000 salary where supervisor roles were interchangeable. Bus Eireann proposed increases but rejected a single rate for service supervisors. The Court also recommended provisions on annual leave, Sunday rostering, time and attendance, the drug and alcohol policy, performance management and technological change.
