The Labour Court recommended that Henkel Ireland Ltd pay the disputed 2.5% final phase of the Towards 2016 Agreement from 9 December 2013, with the payment to settle the claim in full and final terms if accepted by the unions. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union and Unite the Union said the payment remained outstanding. Henkel Ireland Ltd argued it had been covered by a mediated settlement in 2010, which produced an earlier 1.25% increase.
