The Labour Court recommended a temporary arrangement for an outside security provider at the Central Bank of Ireland, after finding management's proposal necessary to respond to an immediate risk. Its recommendation was signed on 18 February 2013. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had raised concerns alongside the Bank. The Court recommended that the arrangement remain in place for three months before review, while an independent person examined issues raised by both sides and could make recommendations. The matter could return to the Court after that period if necessary.
