Labour Court recommends HSE South regrading claim go through national job evaluation scheme

The Labour Court recommended that a regrading claim for 15 whole-time-equivalent HSE South staff be processed through the national job evaluation scheme, with the evaluation carried out as soon as possible. The recommendation was signed on 17 November 2009. The Irish Municipal, Public and Civil Trade Union sought to move the workers from Clerical Officer Grade 3 to Administrative Grade 4. The staff calculated and processed payments to home helps. HSE South said the duties were appropriately graded but was prepared to use the nationally agreed scheme to address the issue.
