The Labour Court recommended that Boc Gas Services and Amicus negotiate an annualised-hours system after their pay dispute failed to reach agreement. The system should set weekly contract or rostered hours and reserved hours, with unused reserved hours deleted after an agreed period of no more than 12 months. On a proposed GFM Engineer post at St James's Hospital, the Court recommended accepting the company's proposal, with assurances that the terms would apply only to that post unless otherwise agreed. The recommendation was signed on 24 November 2006.
