In 2004, the Labour Court recommended that QDS Cope Foundation place a senior supervisor on point 12, the maximum of her salary scale, before her retirement in 2005. The worker had challenged her placement after supervisors were regraded; the union withdrew her annual leave complaint at the hearing. The Court found her assimilation to the senior supervisor scale had followed the applicable guidelines and did not recommend long-service increments because the service criteria were not met. It recommended accepting management’s offer of the final increment as full and final settlement. The recommendation was dated 7 July 2004.
