Labour Court recommends no concession in Falkon Security dismissal dispute

The Labour Court recommended no concession on a worker’s claim that Falkon Security Services unfairly dismissed him. It found he was fairly dismissed after accepting that he received one week’s notice and payment for that week. Falkon said the worker’s attendance had deteriorated and that he had made abusive calls. The worker disputed the company’s account and said long hours had affected his health. He did not attend the hearing but sent a written submission. The recommendation was signed on 2 July 1998.
