The Labour Court recommended that Three Rivers Oil Company concede Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s claim for a 3% increase under the Programme for Economic and Social Progress for sales truck operators and supervisors. The recommendation was dated 23 June 1997. For sales truck operators, the increase was to follow the company’s letter of 11 November 1993, with its penalty clause withdrawn. The Court recommended an operation date of 1 June 1996.
