In 1997, the Labour Court recommended that outdoor staff at Pandoro Limited accept the company’s proposed pension scheme. The Amalgamated Transport And General Workers' Union had sought parity with the scheme for clerical and managerial grades. The Court said the staff could raise the parity issue again if circumstances warranted. It issued the recommendation on 8 April 1997.
