Labour Court recommends Bose Ireland consider offering work to worker after layoff

The Labour Court recommended that Bose Ireland give every consideration to offering a worker employment in future after finding a genuine misunderstanding about her availability for day work. It could not find that she had been unfairly treated. The recommendation was signed on 21 December 1995. The worker had been employed temporarily before a layoff and said she expected to be re-employed when business improved. Bose Ireland said she was unavailable for temporary day work because she had a morning job.
