In 1995, the Labour Court recommended that the 35-hour week apply to radiographers at Our Lady's Hospital For Sick Children where their contracts required it. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought a return to the previous 32.5-hour week. The Court criticised the way the hospital moved the radiographers to 35 hours but accepted that contractual requirements should be honoured. The recommendation was signed on 6 October 1995.
