The Labour Court recommended that Reprocentre recognise Manufacturing Science Finance on behalf of its members. The recommendation was signed on 3 October 1995. The union sought recognition after a number of Reprocentre workers joined it and the company did not respond favourably to its request for a meeting. The Court said a significant number of employees were union members. Reprocentre declined an invitation to attend the hearing.
