In 1995, the Labour Court recommended annual salaries of £12,000 for senior leisure attendants and £10,000 for a receptionist at Galway Failte/Leisureland. The recommendation was signed on 15 June. The Court also recommended conceding the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union's claim for overtime rates for training outside normal working hours. It did not recommend conceding the union's claim for taxis for workers finishing after public transport stopped. The recommendations were to take effect from 1 January 1995.
