In 1995, the Labour Court did not recommend concession of Manufacturing Science Finance's £800 relocation-compensation claim for 29 Ics Building Society workers transferred to Percy Place. The recommendation was signed on 20 February 1995. The union cited travel costs, lost amenities and safety concerns at the new location. Ics Building Society said it had consulted staff, invested in the Percy Place building and that disruption was minimal and temporary. The Court found that the submissions did not establish grounds to grant the claim.
