The Labour Court recommended no change to Dublin County Council’s existing pay scale for Park Rangers. The recommendation was signed on 25 January 1994. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought regrading by applying the Litter Warden rate of pay. The Court found no major change to the job description and no significant difference from counterparts in Dublin Corporation. It said the union’s claim that the scale was too low from the outset should first be submitted to Dublin Corporation.
