In 1992, the Labour Court did not recommend upgrading Bord Na Mona’s environmental control officers, finding the union had not made a compelling case. For two technical advisers, it recommended that the Board reinstate its offer and that the union accept it. The recommendation was signed on 25 November 1992. The claims concerned salary increases for two environmental control officers and two technical advisers. The advisers had rejected an offer of £808 a year, and a later regrading offer was cancelled.
