In 1992, the Labour Court recommended that Snaptite Europe's shift-premium dispute with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union should not be addressed at that time under the Programme for Economic and Social Progress. The Court said the company had not yet implemented the programme's pay provisions and recommended their immediate implementation, with payment from the due date. The recommendation was signed on 30 November 1992.
