The Labour Court rejected a claim by retired workers for a lead-in payment under Telecom Eireann’s bonus scheme. Its recommendation was dated 13 February 1992. The Court said payment depended on accepting the overall bonus package, being employed when the agreement was made and being able to provide the co-operation and flexibility it required. The claimants could not meet those conditions.
