The Labour Court did not recommend changing redundancy payments already made to workers at Tetra Business Systems (Ireland) Limited after the company decided to transfer its Irish software development operations to the UK. The recommendation, following a dispute with Manufacturing Science Finance, was dated 21 June 1991. The Court recommended that the parties meet to discuss the company’s proposals to help establish an independent company and seek expert assistance. It also noted the company’s undertaking to pay any money still due under its former incentive scheme.
