Labour Court rejects Federated Workers Union Of Ireland’s regrading claim at Radio Telefis Eireann

The Labour Court did not recommend conceding the Federated Workers Union Of Ireland’s claim to regrade two Cork Team Secretaries as Broadcasting Assistants. The recommendation was signed on 28 April 1989. The Court found no changes that warranted altering an earlier recommendation. The union relied on a job evaluation and increased broadcasting hours; the Authority argued that the workers’ duties did not warrant a higher grade.
