The Labour Court recommended that the Central Bank Of Ireland and the Irish Transport and General Workers’ Union agree new rosters for security guards covering Sandyford and Dame Street. The recommendation was signed on 21 March 1989. The Court said the current shift-change practice did not accord with the agreement. It recommended rosters that reflect the number of guards available and the Bank’s requirements, while minimising occasions when guards have to change shifts.
