The Labour Court recommended that an Electricity Supply Board worker pursue grievances through his union and agreed procedures. The recommendation was signed on 3 March 1989. The worker sought restoration of his former job description and a retraction and apology over allegations he said had been made against him. The Court said the Electricity Supply Board and unions could negotiate agreements covering electricians and that electricians should comply with them. It did not recommend in the claimant’s favour.
