In 1988, the Labour Court said a worker had received all money due when his employment with Irish Estates Management Limited ended, and did not recommend conceding his claims for one week's alleged wage arrears and holiday pay. The recommendation was signed on 25 October 1988. The worker said he had started partway through a shift cycle and was owed excess hours, as well as further holiday pay under a workplace agreement. The company said outstanding money was paid at the end of each four-week cycle and that the worker had received more than his holiday entitlements.
