The Labour Court has upheld a ruling that it had no jurisdiction to hear Siobhan Mcnally’s safety and health complaint against Rotunda Hospital because it was filed outside the statutory time limit. McNally argued that her employment continued, citing monthly payments and disputing that she had authorised a pension or changes to her employment terms. The Court found in a linked appeal that her employment ended on 20 May 2019; the complaint was lodged with the Workplace Relations Commission on 6 November 2023. The Court signed its decision on 7 May 2025.
