Labour Court sets aside WRC decision in Irish Prison Service appeal

The Labour Court allowed the Irish Prison Service’s appeal and set aside the WRC Adjudication Officer’s decision in its case against Mark Mulhall. The determination was signed on 4 March 2026. Mulhall did not intend to contest the appeal and accepted that the Court could decide in the Service’s favour. The Court said it relied on the parties’ agreed position.
