The Labour Court affirmed the dismissal of Siobhan McNally’s complaint against the Rotunda Hospital as frivolous in a determination signed on 3 April 2025. McNally had sought to overturn the dismissal and obtain a substantive hearing on alleged discrimination, harassment and pay issues. The Hospital argued the complaint was outside the statutory time limit. The Court’s review was confined to the frivolous dismissal and it relied on earlier unappealed decisions that later complaints were out of time. It did not decide the underlying allegations on their merits, and no award was made.
