The Labour Court affirmed an adjudication officer’s decision after Maria Popovici’s appeal over daily rest periods failed. The decision was dated 18 September 2024. The appeal concerned the Organisation of Working Time Act requirement for at least 11 consecutive hours of rest in each 24-hour work period. Popovici’s representative told the Court she had no complaint that Ailesbury Services breached that requirement, and the employer agreed. The Court said the appeal must fail and affirmed the original decision.
