The Labour Court upheld a decision against Jason Cahill in his annual leave appeal, dated 27 May 2022. Cahill had claimed €1,040 for two weeks of unpaid leave after his dismissal from Clancourt Management. The Court found the attendance records showed Cahill took two weeks’ leave in August 2020. It said there was no evidence to contradict those records or the company’s calculation that his annual leave entitlement had been exceeded. The appeal failed.
