The Labour Court reduced Robert Filipiak’s working-time award from €1,250 to €630 after employer Peter Brady’s appeal. In a determination signed on 5 March 2010, the Court found Filipiak had not received his full annual-leave entitlement and was entitled to five days’ annual leave and four public-holiday entitlements. The claims were under sections 19 and 21 of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997. The Court took the employer’s circumstances into account when setting the amount.
