The Labour Court has rejected Lourda Finn’s appeal over her claim for higher-grade pay while assigned to the Health Service Executive (HSE). The decision was signed on 16 January 2025. Finn said she was paid as a Grade 3 Clerical Officer but performed Grade 4 work. The HSE said she supported a Grade 3 position. The Court could not establish that she had been assigned higher-grade work, found no breach of the Protection of Employees (Temporary Agency Work) Act 2012 and affirmed the adjudicator’s decision.
