The Workplace Relations Commission ordered MyeSign International Inc to pay Samy Jelassi USD $10,000 after finding the company unlawfully withheld his July 2025 wages. The decision was dated 21 August 2026.
The WRC found it had jurisdiction because Jelassi worked in Ireland, and that his relationship with the company was employment despite its consultancy characterisation. The company denied that an employment relationship existed and disputed that wages were due. The WRC found the agreed remuneration was wages under the Payment of Wages Act.
