The Workplace Relations Commission declined jurisdiction over seven employment complaints brought by Iosif Ciobanca against Clayton Hotel Burlington Road. The decision was dated 29 July 2026. The adjudicator said the hotel name was a trading name and the legal employer was DHG Burlington Road Limited; she could not substitute or amend the respondent named on Ciobanca’s complaint form. The merits were not decided. Ciobanca said he worked as a Food & Beverage Manager. His complaints concerned equality, wages, working time, minimum notice, employment terms and mobile road-transport working time. The decision said his payslips and contract named DHG Burlington Road Limited as his employer, and that he knew or ought to have known the correct legal name.
