The Workplace Relations Commission awarded an anonymised employee €10,530 after finding she was constructively and unfairly dismissed by Richale Developments Limited. The decision, dated 17 September 2026, also awarded €3,500 for Sunday work, €2,170 net for withheld wages, €3,500 for annual leave and €2,000 for public holidays. The adjudicator accepted the employee’s evidence that the company director’s conduct created a hostile working environment and that she could not reasonably have been expected to remain in her job. The dismissal compensation was calculated using the €13.50 minimum wage rate and a 20-hour working week, taking account of her unemployment, efforts to limit her losses and later employment. The minimum-wage complaint was not well founded because she had not first requested a statement of her average hourly rate. The payment-in-lieu-of-notice complaint and duplicate annual-leave and public-holiday complaints were also not well founded.
