The Workplace Relations Commission has directed Norinora Limited to pay former employee Gary Somers €23,185.68 in compensation, less any lawful deductions, after upholding his unpaid wages complaint. The decision was dated 22 January 2026.
Somers said the company owed him wages, public holiday pay and holiday pay for his work as a Design and Maintenance Manager. The WRC found the claimed sums were wages properly payable and had not been paid. Somers gave evidence and supporting documents; Norinora did not attend the hearing or submit evidence to challenge his claim.
