The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Sandyford Inns Limited, t/a Ollies Bar & Lounge to pay chef Paul Shiels €171.20 on his Payment of Wages complaint and €2,204.20 in compensation for unpaid holiday pay. Adjudication Officer John Harraghy dated the decision 4 February 2026; both awards were payable within 42 days. The WRC found a shortfall of €171.20 in the outstanding holiday-pay balance, and separately found the Organisation of Working Time Act complaint well-founded. Shiels’s evidence was uncontested. The company did not attend the hearing, although the WRC was satisfied it had been notified.
