The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Michael Donoghue’s discrimination and parental leave complaints against P.M.R. Fuel Services Ltd. after he did not attend the hearing. The decision was dated 2 June 2026. Donoghue had alleged discrimination based on membership of the Traveller community and family status, and harassment. The company denied the complaints and asked for them to be dismissed because Donoghue was absent and could not pursue them. The WRC recorded that Donoghue did not appear, including after a 15-minute grace period. Although the decision labelled the complaints not well founded, it gave no substantive assessment of the allegations.
