The Workplace Relations Commission upheld Marian Zait-Tintisan’s complaint that Wanzl (Ireland) Limited unlawfully deducted wages by failing to cover work travel and toll costs. It ordered a gross payment of €900. Adjudication Officer Penelope McGrath’s decision was dated 5 December 2025. Zait-Tintisan said he drove to a Navan site for about ten weeks after being promised reimbursement. Wanzl denied breaching the Payment of Wages legislation. The WRC found he was meant to receive an allowance so he would not bear the costs himself.
