The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Ramazan Yildirim’s Payment of Wages complaint against Komfort Kare, Health Care Company, in a decision dated 12 March 2026. The complaint covered bank holiday payments, travel expenses, overtime and on-call allowances. The WRC found travel expenses were outside the Act, the contract provided no overtime payments, and evidence about on-call allowances was too imprecise. The company said it had paid €766.88 for mileage and undertook to pay €203 for the 17 March 2025 bank holiday; the officer found the other bank holidays had been paid. Yildirim’s later claims, including constructive dismissal, were excluded from the case.
