The Workplace Relations Commission found that Osemu Oigbochie was racially abused by his line manager at Apcoa Limited, but rejected his complaint that the company discriminated against him by not suspending the manager. The decision was dated 5 December 2025.
Apcoa accepted the offensive remark may have been made and said it had harassment policies, trained staff, responded promptly and tried mediation before starting a disciplinary process. The adjudication officer accepted that the company took reasonable steps to address the conduct and prevent it being repeated.
