The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Viktoriia Voitova €550 after finding that Matteo Zanardo trading as Magico Bakery failed to ensure she received statutory breaks. Adjudication Officer Brian Dolan dated the decision 31 October 2025. Voitova said she rarely got a break during long shifts because the bakery was busy. Zanardo denied preventing breaks and said staff arranged and rotated them. The adjudicator accepted Voitova’s evidence and noted the bakery provided no break schedules, rosters or written information about break rights.
